About Us

The Union on Carter opened March 1st of 2022.  It is an older church in a quaint neighborhood in Ashland Ky that has been renovated and decorated with a Boho sort of feel so it will compliment any type of theme for your event. Almost no decorations are needed because the space is so gorgeous with the use of barn wood and black accents. We provide the tables and chairs and have plenty of rentals for your special event.  We plan to catch the eye of many different events such as Business events, birthday parties, Weddings, Proms, baby showers, etc.  For our business events we have provided a breakout room downstairs for smaller meetings.  For our wedding parties we have created a wedding party oasis in the basement that includes a beautiful Bridal Suite for the wedding party to spend the day as well as a dressing room where bridesmaids can hang their dresses and get ready.  The vanity room has picture perfect lighting and stylist chairs for a perfect spot for hair and makeup.  Grooms, we didn’t forget about you.  There is a great space in the Groom's Room for you to hang out and watch tv while waiting on the “I dos”.  A game room is across the hall so you and your buddies can make some memories on your big day.  Our large Event room will hold approx. 150 people at table seating.  Our cocktail area has plenty of room to set up a buffet for food or just a place to stand around and have conversation and watch tv.  The kitchen is set up for preparation of food for your event by your caterer with warming boxes and refrigerators.  Need alcohol for your event?  We can handle that also!  We are here for you to help with anything we can and make your event go smoothly and stress free.  Thank you for inquiring about The Union on Carter.
